「竹編天瓶球形花器」作者吳聖宗，此件作品以六角孔編法完成胴體，到頸部則轉換成壓二斜紋編織法，並以輪口收編法來收邊，然後以竹篾自由穿插來完成整體的造形，最後將四個竹索的圈圈以藤皮用蝶形紋飾來固定。完成後用鹽基性染料紅棕、黑兩色分兩次煮染，再以細砂布研磨打光後噴透明漆。整件作品表現出竹篾的纖細、輕巧與彈性，這些獨有的材質特性，也讓我們深刻體會到竹子生命的堅韌與活力。

 “Globe-shaped bamboo woven vase” by Wu Sheng-Zhong. This piece utilizes hexagonal weaving to complete the body; compressed dual twill-patterned weaving technique is also adopted around the neck, with the rotary weaving technique used to round off the edges. Bamboo strips are freely inserted to complete the overall style, and four bamboo circles are secured with wicker braided into butterfly patterns. After completion, it is dyed twice with reddish brown and black basic dyes, which also is polished with fine sand paper, and clear varnished. The entire piece presents the delicacy, lightness, and flexibility of bamboo strips. These unique properties make us realize the resiliency and energy of bamboo.
