「竹鐘(時光隧道)」，這件作品怎麼像是個時鐘?它正是以竹篾編作的時鐘。由邱錦緞女士所完成，邱女士曾獲得大墩工藝師認證，此件作品的製作流程是先以本色的桂竹篾，用六角編法形塑器身，再以輪口編法內夾人字波浪紋及風車編法於兩面作圓，空洞處則以竹篾隨意斜插補滿，內層以三角編法編成筒狀做隔離修飾，竹篾整束繞成8字文耳飾，緣口、面寬轉折處與方形底座，用細藤皮纏繞而成，天然樹漆擦拭固胎。 特殊的風格，將隨處可見的時鐘演繹出獨一無二的味道。

 “Bamboo clock (The tunnel of time)”. Why does this piece resemble a clock? It is indeed a clock woven with bamboo strips by Qiu Jing-Duang. Ms. Qiu has won the certification of Da-dun Artisan. The production process of this piece begins with braiding natural-colored makino bamboo strips into the body, by using the hexagonal weaving technique, following two round surfaces made with a combination of rotary, wave pattern, and windmill weaving techniques. Bamboo strips are inserted twilly at random into the hollow areas. The inner layer consists of a cylindrical lining woven in triangular weaving. The entire bunch of bamboo strips is tied into ornaments in the shape of the symbol, “infinity”. The rim, angles, and square foothold are made of thin, twisted wicker peel, and painted with natural lacquer. Unique styling transforms an ordinary clock into a art piece that is one-of-a-kind.
