“Bamboo vase” by Lin Xiu-Feng. Ms. Lin has won the certification of Da-dun Artisan. This piece uses un-scraped outer bamboo strips to maintain their skin, which has been stripped of oil. The edges were rounded off and the strips still maintain the bamboo knots. Using star-shaped weaving as the base, pine leaf weaving are made to form the body, with double twisted wicker to round off the rim. The simplistic contour is natural and refreshing, without any access ornamentation. Only intricate weaving is used to present the characteristics of bamboo. It is both practical to use and pleasurable to admire.
