Buildings introduction
In December, 1996 set up "County history museum preparatory office" began planning. In December, 1997 officially unveiled enabled. The 921 earthquake was damaged, after repaired ready , and was reopened in October, 2001. The main building system is to repair the「Wu De Dian」like that Japanese colonial time in Taiwan then(originally built in 1937), at that time as a police practice judo and Kendo places, after the National Government moved to Taiwan successively had been used as the county police station, the provincial mountain agriculture and animal husbandry bureau, staff consumption welfare commissary and county environmental protection bureau and so on, its Tang-dynasty style simulation architecture integrated the northern China and Oriental style.
The County History Hall collected cultural relics and information to provide Nantou County history research as the main scope, there are some display like cultural relics collection, aboriginal culture, old photos and so on. Exhibiting ancestors living things in this Park, there are stone mortar, stone mill, stone tablets, carts and tricycles and so on.
