  The Jing San Pavilion is also called Holy-Story Pavilion, commonly known as the Cherish-Word Pavilion or the Respect-Word Pavilion.
  Sang Liao Jing San Pavilion, in 11st year of Qing Emperor Xianfeng dynasty (1861) that Chen Ling-yun donated to create, Guangxu five years (1879) uncertified scholar Chen Da-cheng donated rebuilt. Because at that time reading atmosphere Zhushan and Lugu area are very popular, admitted to the Certified Student and First-degree scholar totally more than ten people. Therefore, not only the intellectuals are respected, even the custom of the word paper respect and cherish also flourished, one after another build such holy sacred pavilion gradually.
  In ancient thought that we cannot throw or trample all written papers, need to collect all together for burning. Every lunar year on February 3, Wenchang emperor birthday, after worship, to knock gongs and drums to have the burn paper ashes, sent to the river or sea, represent the respect for the text. So the construction of the Jing San Pavilion, stand for the symbol of the local style. Later, such respect paper style had been in faint decline, a lot of Jing San Pavilions was demolished or converted into the paper money pavilion of temple.
  Today, the Jing San Pavilion is like a specific and micro cultural relics, although the function is no longer, but the Holy significance is worth pondering and memories. The Sang Liao Holy Story Pavilion is one among the few who has been retained, very precious, but also a symbol of local glory.
