　　Founded in the early years of the Qing Emperor Qianlong Dynasty, has been more than 300 years. The Lord God in Temple for worship is the Mazu, commonly called the Mazu Palace. Qing Dynasty Zhushan is belong to "Shuishalian boom", named Lianxing Gong, it means that "water and sand with prosperity", the oldest Matsu Temple in Nantou county, is the faith center for local residents.
　　Lianxing Gong incense heyday, after several construction, the appearance has a new look, but look at its structural pattern, still showing a simple and elegant, introverted and solemn style. The front hall is the traditional temple architecture, carved beams, glazed tiles, dragon swallowtail, totally three halls for entering, because of long aged, building statues were smoked into the dark black color, feel classic and antique on them.
　　Lianxing Temple since the Qing Dynasty, has ever been rebuilt several times, the current temple was built at the beginning of Japanese colonial era as the end of the Ming Dynasty. Now preserved in the temple during the Qing Dynasty Qianlong era the "opening to horse shows the monument" and the Daoguang era the "It is strictly forbidden to extort bamboo raft money monument" are of high historical value.
　　The black Matsu was dedicated in Temple, according to legend, her original seat was in the Sang Liao Matsu Palace, when built this Matsu Palace by 80 years ago, Matsu was staying in Zhushan Lianxing Palace and then, she was not willing to be driven back. In order to thank the black Matsu in the past to the Sang Liao area blessing, during the previous ten days on the birth of Matsu every year, all will use the Mikoshi to send the Matsu back to "her family."
