  Located in Ding Jia Pei district, Jia Lao Village, Caotun Township, it is the Hong surname ancestral hall. Built in the 10th year of Qing Emperor Daoguang dynasty (1830), has been more than 170 years. The ancestral home at Zhang Pu County, Zhangzhou House, Fujian Province, Hong, Dun-pu descendants Hong, Bing-zheng and Hong, Yu-de in Qianlong era moved to the Jia Pei and Xinzhuang area, Caotun Township for reclamation, and soon formed Hong surname settlement. In order to remember the ancestors, unity tribe, Hong surname relatives in 10th year of Daoguang to create Dunlun Hall, worship Hong, Dun-pu latter ancestral tablets, as an ancestral hall to worship ancestors.
  Hong surname is one of the main four surnames in Caotun Township, built Dunhuang hall, Duncheng hall, and Dunlun hall at three ancestral halls. Dunlun hall is to use the soil, wood, thin tile as the building materials, to be a traditional Tibetan courtyard building, its architectural appearance simple, with elegant temperament, is only one among the Hong three ancestral halls in Caotun Township with the traditional building that never change its original appearance. In 1993, it was announced as a three-level monuments, the only one private ancestral hall was designated as monuments in Nantou County, due to the long ages, part of the building materials rot, after the 921 earthquake the government repaired it completely by traditional process methods.
