　　　The Longde Temple is commonly known as the Boulevard temple or Lord Temple, is the Caotun Township Beitou Po Lin ancestors from the mainland to Taiwan to settle in Chiayi Meishan Township, in Emperor Kangxi years moved to Caotun Township Yuemei House area for reclamation, built a small temple in the gossip foothills at Maoluo River aside. But later destroyed by floods, so moved to the old stains alley in front of temple, In Emperor Qianlong 58th year moved to current site. Later, after several repeated repairs and encountered the Wushu floods in the Japanese occupation period at Showa the 10th year (1935), 87 floods in 1959 and 81 floods in 1960, The last time to rebuild & complete ready in 1993, now remains generally Qianlong style.
　　The Longde Temple is a traditional simple temple architecture in using single access into the three-bay design, the Gods statues in temple are enshrined for worshipping besides the main Lord God as the Great Emperor Baosheng, the distributed gods as Guan Sheng emperor, Guanyin Bodhisattva, Tianshang shengmu and the West Qin princes etc., In 2009, raised funds to build new archway. The "Eight Seven" flood in 1959, Maoluo River from the Xizhou bursting, in the whole village about 600 houses were destroyed, Long De Temple is also difficult to survive, only remain the middle hall and worship Pavilion. At that time, hundreds of village residents hid into the middle hall to be on the God table and climbed up to the ancient banyan tree in front of the temple to get rid of the disaster, thus became the savior of this village residents and also ranked it as the monuments accordingly.
　　At present the temple inside preserved the "Real long life" plaque in the first year of Xianfeng (1851), and the "sentence without penalty" plaque in December, the 3rd year of Tongzhi (1864) winter. Furthermore, still preserved the stone incense burner built in the 12^th year of Tongzhi (1873), where engraved with "Great Emperor Baosheng" & "Long De Temple", and after the Longde temple moved to the current site, hiring the China master to carve the big and small God sedan each 1 set at matched size.
