「六角孔編花器」作者張憲平，此件作品由六角編法起底，接著轉折向上繼續編胴體，前後兩面密插垂直的細竹篾來加強器身，左右兩側則斜插較寬的竹篾來流露其透空的輕盈，緣口則以藤條夾邊、藤皮編紮，以流暢的曲線來收邊，最後以竹片框當底足，以竹片加藤皮編紮紋飾的提把來完成整體的造形。整件作品看似輕盈卻不失其整體的嚴謹與渾厚，由其細膩的技法中可看出張憲平老師的扎實功夫與造形能力，並經由他的巧手來展現竹子的韌挺與雅緻。

 “Hexagonal hole weaving vase” by Chang Xien-Ping. This piece starts with hexagonal weaving as the base, folded upward to continue as the body; thin bamboo strips are inserted vertically in the front and back for reinforcement, and wider strips are inserted diagonally left and right to express the airiness and lightness. The edges are finished with wicker lining and the braiding of wicker peel, rounding off with a fluid curve. Lastly the bamboo frame is used as the foothold, and bamboo and wicker braided ornamental handles completes the overall design. The entire piece seems light, yet it expresses caution and solidity. From the intricate techniques, Master Chang evidently possesses skills and shaping ability. It is through his hands that we see the resiliency and eleganct properties of bamboo.
